Students at 91撸男视频 Deane鈥檚 Sixth Form College are celebrating high grade success as the College enjoys yet another set of outstanding A level and BTEC results.
In a year where grades nationally returned to 2019 pre-pandemic levels, 77% of all A level grades awarded to 91撸男视频 Deane鈥檚 students were A*, A or B, and 46% A* or A, exceeding those set four years ago, which saw the College ranked amongst the top 50 institutions in the country.
There was also good news for BTEC students, with 82% of grades awarded at Distinction and Distinction*.
Principal Christopher Atherton said: 鈥淚n the year where grades nationally have returned to their 2019 levels, I am incredibly proud that our students have surpassed our remarkable 2019 results.
鈥淭hese amazing results are a testament to the extra-ordinary hard work of our students and their teachers.鈥�
Amongst the high grades, there are hundreds of individual success stories, with 448 students achieving a least three grades at A*-B and 200 students hitting straight A*- A.
Students have now secured places at some of the UK鈥檚 top universities. 33 students have been successful in securing highly competitive places for medicine, veterinary science and dentistry degree courses, while nine students are now set for Oxford and Cambridge universities.
Many students are also now set to kick-start their careers in industry after achieving the grades for a number of highly sought-after degree and higher-level apprenticeships.
